Alexey Logunov’s orchestral work MESSIER 87 received its U.S. premiere on November 12th, 2023, performed by the Indiana University Concert Orchestra under the direction of David Dzubay at the Indiana University Musical Arts Center as part of the New Voices Orchestra concert.
The work was originally premiered on September 15th, 2022, by the Saint-Petersburg Academic Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Fedor Lednyov.
