Les Quadrantides (2013)

for flute, clarinet, violin, cello, and piano

Les Quadrantides created in 2013 represents the first part of the cycle devoted to the space phenomena. Time-lapse videos of a meteoric shower, and also created by experts of NASA sound reconstructions of magnetospheres of various planets and stars served as material for inspiration. Composition recreates the moment of emergence of a meteoric shower against various changes of a space perceived by the person. The piece was premiered by Saint-Petersburg MolOt-ensemble on March 16 in a chamber hall of the St. Petersburg conservatory of N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov.
